Concordia Conservatory is looking to hire a Creative Arts Therapist to serve Special Education Students in the Stamford Public School District, serving students with a range of neurological and physical disabilities. Part-time, 25 hours per week – from January through June.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Art or Music Therapy, experience working with special needs children
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide in classroom art/music therapy in 15 Stamford Public Schools (K-12)
Working with verbal and non-verbal students with autism spectrum disorder, neurological dysfunction and developmental and/or cognitive disabilities
