Description

Concurrent with the Bridgeport Arts Trail - the American Fabrics Arts Building (AmFab), opens its doors to the public for it's 14th Annual Open Studios. The family friendly event showcases more than 24 artists and allows the public to CONNECT with the artists/artisans and COLLECT their work. Guests will meet painters, sculptors, quilt makers, ceramic artists, printmakers, installation artists, photographers, Interior Designers, and more.

There will be special events throughout the weekend including:
- a live fluid acrylic painting demonstration by Jen Glover Riggs on Saturday at 1PM;
- print your own Olde American Proverb poster with Emily Larned with proceeds donated to the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence;
- video screenings of local, national and international artists hourly in the Marble Foyer curated by Crystal Heiden;
- Studio and Sample Sales by Jocelyn Braxton Armstrong, Janine Brown, Judith Corrigan, Linda Colletta, Brechin Morgan, Denyse Schmidt Quilts, Janet Slom, and Ulla Surland Design.

In addition to the artists' studios, WPKN will spin an eclectic mix of music while hosting a 50 Year Archive Record Sale; musicians will be performing live throughout the building; and an Art Raffle gives a chance to win one-of-a-kind works with proceeds donated to The Bridgeport Rescue Mission (BRM). Donations of food and coats will also be accepted for the BRM Stuff-A-Truck event.
