Description

The Coastal Arts Guild of CT will be presenting a pop-up art show beginning August 22. We will be partnering with the Milford Arts Council and Middletown-based Artists For World Peace for their “6×6 4 Peace” wall of art.

The pop-up show features hundreds of 6″ x 6″ artworks on canvas on the "Peace Wall."

Join us Thursday, August 22, 5-8pm, for the opening reception and sale. There will be live music and an artist creating a painting on the spot!

There will be over 100 pieces of original 6x6 art by local artists for sale. The 6×6 canvases are perfect for your home or office and as gifts!

All of the 6″ x 6″ artworks are donated to Artists for World Peace by artists from all over the country (and sometimes beyond). They sell the canvases to raise money for humanitarian causes. The most recent initiative is Native Eyes which raises money for free eye clinics for residents of Native American communities (https://www.artistsforworldpeace.org/native-eyes).

NOTE: We do our best to ensure all information is accurate, however it's a good idea to visit the website or call the venue to verify the information.
