University of Bridgeport’s Schelfhaudt Gallery will host an exhibition called:
“AMFAB Rhythms”
Dates: January 22, 2019 – March 2, 2019

Opening Reception: Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.

The Schelfhaudt Gallery at the University of Bridgeport is celebrating the AMFAB (American Fabrics Art Building) group of artists this winter with the show, Rhythms. An opening extravaganza for AMFAB will be held on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 and will be an evening for art lovers and the community.

AMFAB Rhythms will include works by more than 18 artists from the AMFAB studios. Expansive in scope, the show will showcase photography, sculpture, painting, installation and mixed media. This diverse group of artists creates a unique blend of art that promotes collaboration and inspiration.

Artists featured in the show include
Janine Brown, Linn Cassetta, Eric Chiang, Linda Colletta, Judith Corrigan, Deborah Dutko, Beth Edwards, Holly Hawthorn, Crystal Heiden, Richard Killeaney
Lesley Koenig, Ayn Kraven, Marcella Kurowski, Emily Larned, Thomas Mezzanotte, Brechin Morgan, Meighan Morrison, Susan Newbold, Janet Rathert, Roxy Savage, Denyse Schmidt and many more…

AMFAB: Rhythms runs January 22 through March 2, 2019
The public is warmly invited to Opening Night on January 24 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. p.m. Please come and bring friends and family. All are welcome! Complimentary refreshments will be served for your enjoyment.

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you are interested in visiting and cannot make our hours, please call 203-240-7333 to schedule an appointment.

From Hartford & North: I-91:
91 South to 15 South to 8 South to Exit 1 (Prospect)
Right onto Prospect to Park Avenue, left onto Park Avenue to University Avenue, right onto University Avenue
Arnold Bernhard Center (ABC) is the last building on the left side of University Avenue
Enter from THE BUILDING’S PARKING LOT ENTRANCE. (East side)
Gallery is down the hall to your left.

From NYC & Southwest: I-95:
95 North to Exit 26 (Worden Avenue)
Follow 95 service road to Iranistan Avenue,turn right onto Iranistan South past light to stop sign at Atlantic Avenue, left onto Atlantic Avenue (one block), right onto Rennell, right onto University,enter from THE BUILDING’S PARKING LOT ENTRANCE (East side)
Gallery is down the hall to your left.
