As part of the Weston History & Culture Center’s World War II Lecture Series, author Tony Pavia presents, “An American Town Goes to War,” on Saturday, September 30 at 3pm at Weston History & Culture Center. Event is FREE but registration is recommended as space is limited. Register at: www.WestonCTHistory.org.

“An American Town Goes to War” is the story of a group of men, all from Stamford, CT, who went off to war. Mr. Pavia will discuss the commonalities of their experiences, highlight their personal stories and stories from the veterans’ loved ones. Mr. Pavia will describe the process of writing the book, which involved years of interviews with local veterans and their families.
