The next stop in this musical journey around the world is Ghana. Ghana is known for its unique drums and percussion instruments. John Wesley Dankwa will join NHSO percussion as they unite traditional orchestra percussion with the distinctive percussion of Ghana.

Featuring:
John Wesley Dankwa, percussion
NHSO percussion

Before the concert, the NHSO offers an Instrument Petting Zoo where children can tap, tickle, and toot real orchestral instruments. Families are invited to stay for a healthy snack after the performance. New Haven Reads also provides free children’s books for all concert attendees.
