Part I: Gaining Perspectives: Black Men in America with WCSU Assistant Professor Qur-an Webb, MSW

This session will focus on the depiction of Black men in today’s society and explain some of the emotional hurdles they confront on a regular basis in both their personal and professional lives. Systematic oppression and implicit bias impacts both physical and mental health, and cultural mistrust often influences perceptions and affects the quality of relationships for Black men in America.
