Description

Jill Nichols has her MFA in painting from Western Connecticut State University is represented in the permanent collections of the Vatican Observatory Museum, University of Connecticut Health Center, Yale Medical Center, and former FBI Director James Comey. She is an adjunct professor of art at the University of New Haven and conducts international painting workshops.

Jill received an award in June 2020 from the CT Office of the Arts to teach a series of four free online painting classes.

Join Jill and find your own creative place. Enhance your painting practice with video lessons and realtime painting critiques

Jill will be releasing four new oil painting instruction videos over the next four months:
Basic skill video for the beginner or those in need of a refresher – July 15th
Plein air (outdoor) Connecticut Countryside landscape painting – July 30th
Studio Landscape painting from outdoor studies, sketches and photo – August 25th
Studio Still Life- including how to compose a still life with what’s in the house – September 15th

Join Jill for the FIRST FREE Online critique, July 15th in real time. Students will share their work for constructive feedback.
