Sinfonietta Cracovia, one of Europe’s premiere chamber orchestras, will present their flagship project combining the film and concert music of two great composers—Philip Glass and Wojciech Kilar—as part of their international tour.
Wojciech Kilar composed film music and is known for many masterpieces of Polish cinema. He is perhaps best known abroad as the composer of Jane Campion’s The Portrait of a Lady and Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula. Known for his avant-garde work in the 1960s and 70s, Philip Glass was nominated for three Academy Awards .
