Greater Bridgeport Symphony (GBS) has had an eventful and monumental 77th Season Turn, Turn, Turn with the lead up to their concert on Saturday, April 8 at The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport, CT at 8:00pm. GODSPEED, MAESTRO JACOBSEN will be beloved Music Director / Conductor Eric Jacobsen’s last season with GBS, and he is going out with a bang with a lush concert featuring Respighi’s monumental “Pines of Rome,” Dvořák’s “Carnival Overture,” and Shostakovich’s “Chamber Symphony” (orchestral version). For Jacobsen, this concert is his last as GBS Music Director but it’s not goodbye forever and will be back in front of the audiences who have enjoyed him for the last nine seasons.
