Description

Bill Harvey emerged as an artist in the 1950s and 1960s in New York City. Bill immersed in the city's dynamic art scene and community, studying at The Cooper Union, The Art Students League, and Pratt Institute. He also attended salons and studios with that period's great 'New York School' abstract expressionist iconoclasts. Over the six decades of his career, Bill mastered a variety of styles and media, from representational to abstract, oil to watercolor, European street life to Arizona landscapes. His work has been exhibited in numerous national and regional juried shows, major galleries, and The Phoenix Art Museum.
