Make Your Own History summer camp is an opportunity for kids to explore history and embrace their creativity. Through engaging, interactive, history-based activities, kids will learn firsthand about artistry, craftsmanship, and ingenuity – and come home with an authentic experience and their own handmade projects. Kids will learn about Connecticut’s rich history of innovation and creativity by delving into hands-on learning about blacksmithing, tin punching, weaving, dyeing, apothecary in our colonial herb garden, Connecticut’s inventions and much more. Mornings will be filled with discovery, learning, arts & crafts, and a simple snack inspired by the day’s project.
