Description

Brother Guy Consolmagno's research focuses on the connections between meteorites and asteroids, as well as the origin and evolution of small bodies in the solar system. He spent six weeks collecting meteorites in Antarctica in 1996 and was honored by the IAU in 2000 for his contributions. Consolmagno has coauthored two astronomy books, Turn Left at Orion and Worlds Apart, and four books exploring faith and science issues. In 2018, he received an honorary degree from Fairfield University for his contributions in science.
