Paul Favello was a Connecticut based artist who received a BFA from Paier College in 1993 and continued his education at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts.

Paul worked in a variety of mediums ranging from oils, acrylics, printmaking, and photography.

He was mainly influenced by a minimalist/abstract approach to painting.

His process was a reductive method that pushed him to pare down and strip away all non-essential elements.
Removed from subject matter and narrative constraints, Paul used his materials at face value, allowing his process to find new forms of expression and abstraction.

Paul's contemporary minimal designs combined energetic color, composition, and textural depth.
