Description
On Sunday, September 24, at 3pm, Saugatuck Congregational Church will host the first event of its 2023 Sunday Concert Series. Now in its second season, the Concert Series will feature Alex Beyer performing works by Mendelssohn, Schubert, Chopin, Bartok, and Prokofiev.
A native of Southport, Beyer is an internationally accomplished artist, having performed as guest soloist with symphonies and orchestras across Europe and North America. In 2016, he received Third Prize in the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. In 2018, he joined the US Navy and is currently stationed in Norwalk as a pilot with VAW-121, the “Bluetails.”
We will have a short Q&A after the concert.
