This two part class will first look at Michael’s short: his original half hour script, how he cut the script in half without losing the essence of the story, how he assembled a professional cast and crew, locked locations, equipment, insurance, permits, SAG waivers and catering from three thousand miles away on a micro budget. Michael will walk the class through the process of music licensing, the importance of post production editing, color correction, and sound mixing. He will also discuss film festivals, the submission process, and which ones are most suitable for short films.
