Description

Summer Art Studio at the Silvermine School of Art
Study Art at one of the oldest artist communities in the country
June 17 to August 28.

The Silvermine School of Art summer camps and workshops for students ages 4 through 17 offer extraordinary opportunities for young children as well as high school students. Students learn from regionally and nationally known artists while meeting new friends and having fun on Silvermine’s 5-acre campus with its barns, classrooms, sculpture walk and picturesque waterfall. Younger ones will gain new competence; older students can deepen knowledge of technique and composition or strengthen a portfolio for college.

We offer over 120 art studio sessions in painting, drawing, photography, woodworking, ceramics, metal sculpture, printmaking, jewelry, mixed media and special studies. At every level, from beginner to advanced, enjoyment, participation and play are givens, and Silvermine’s campus and many landscape views adds to the experience of attending camp or taking summer workshop.

Camps and workshops run in one-week sessions for ages 4 to 17. The price range is $290 to $475 depending on the hours and number of days. Sessions are available for two age groups: Juniors (ages: 4-10) and Youth (ages 11-17). The first session begins on June 17 and camps run through August 28. Please check back with our website on April 10 for a full list of Summer Art Studio Camp offerings.
