The Ladies is a solo exhibition of prints of mixed media artworks by New Haven artist Leslie Singer. Each piece combines elements of collage, drawing, and painting in a wy in which semi-abstract figures seem to dance on the page with accents of gold ink.

Some of the works are strictly decorative while others include pieces torn from vintage magazines that remind the viewer of some of the twentieth century’s most challenging moments. Singer invites viewers to explore the sometimes jarring juxtapositions at the intersection of aesthetics and social consciousness.
