Margaret Phillips and Mayann Weinberg met over 30 years ago at a quilting group when they were both young mothers and artists. Their quilting activities and travels overlapped, and a deep friendship developed. They organized and ran many art exhibitions over the years often bringing their children along to serve as helpers. Many years later Margaret’s son and Mayann’s daughter reconnected and eventually married. These remarkable women now share a grandchild.
Mayann Weinberg is a Stamford based artist. She is a mixed media artist who embraces many forms of creating art, frequently combining techniques.
