Requirements:
3+ years work experience in a related field. We care more about your experience than about your educational background.
Excellent verbal and written skills. Can you convey INTEMPO’s work succinctly, compellingly, and grammatically across a variety of mediums?
Event-planning experience. Can you anticipate the dozens — if not hundreds — of things that can go wrong during a concert or fundraiser?
Attention to detail. Can you track donations across multiple platforms, ensuring that the data is accurate and usable?
Tech-savvy. Can you adapt quickly to new technologies, like the AI development tool WIZE?
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Nonprofit work is unpredictable. Can you handle surprise projects alongside your existing workload?
A broad interest in music education, youth development, and immigrant inclusion. Are you invested enough in INTEMPO’s work to be a powerful advocate?
Occasional attendance at evening and weekend events.
We understand that candidates rarely meet 100% of the qualifications. We strongly encourage candidates to apply if they meet many of the qualifications and are eager to grow in this role.
Compensation:
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The salary is $50,000, with the possibility of a performance-dependent bonus at the end of the fiscal year. INTEMPO offers a Roth IRA, paid vacation, and hybrid work schedule.

Please submit a cover letter, resume, and two writing samples to info@intempo.org. Development-related writing samples are preferred.
