Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras is thrilled to announce that it has received a $75,000 grant from the League of American Orchestras Catalyst Fund Incubator to transform GCTYO into a more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible organization. GCTYO is one of only 4 youth orchestras selected for this funding, and one of just 20 orchestras nationwide. The Catalyst Grant will allow GCTYO to work with professional facilitators to set and execute DEI goals and conduct activities such as data collection and analysis, educational trainings, and self-evaluation. It will also support programming that brings a diverse selection of artistic voices to GCTYO performances.
