The Holiness in the Ordinary included in Future Perfect/Imperfect: The Next Century

The first iteration of “The Holiness in the Ordinary,” a three channel video installation was selected by curator, Lilly Wei, for the exhibition, Future Perfect/Imperfect: The Next Century at Silvermine Art Center. The exhibition runs from April 30th through June 9th. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am – 4pm. Masks are still required for entry.

The Holiness in the Ordinary is an ongoing project that explores the idea of Unity in Diversity. The project invites participants to come up with a script of 100 statements about themselves starting with the words, “I am…” The participants are then filmed saying their statements and the statements are combined.
