The highlight of the Bridgeport Art Trail is the city-wide open studio and arts celebration weekend that takes place every year right before Veteran's Day. 2019 marks the 11th year of the BAT, attracting 3500+ attendees annually to tour arts studios, mingle with the creative community and arts enthusiasts at receptions, performances, and artful gatherings throughout the city. The long art weekend begins Thursday with an artists' party, not to be missed at the Read's Ground-floor Gallery, in downtown Bridgeport, CTY. This is your chance to visit the American fabrics Arts Building, the NEST Arts factory,305 Knowlton St, the Bridgeport Innovation Center, Pop-Up space, galleries, theatres and museums.
