Carla Goldberg is a mixed media artist whose multiple series of drawings, paintings and sculpture all approach the subject of water in motion. Hallmarks of her work include resin on transparent acrylic panels and the use of light and shadow projected onto the wall behind her artworks giving a definite sense of 3-dimentionality.

Goldberg is an experimenter at heart, often introducing a new series every year. Her Seafoam Sculptural Drawings have been awarded numerous accolades including the 2014 UConn NOAA Connecticut Sea Grant, the United States Government Art in Embassies program (Ankara, Turkey) and the 2019 ACA’s Summit Female Artist of the Year.

Permanent public collections include SW Minnesota State University Art Museum, The Children’s Hospital(s) Boston and Cincinnati, RCCL’s Harmony of the Seas Outdoor Solarium and the Marriott Waikiki Beach lobby. Carla Goldberg was born in Los Angeles in 1965. After earning Honors in Art at The University of Redlands, Johnston Center and an MFA from MICA, Mount Royal, she lived and worked in NY until 2020. She now currently lives and works within view of the Long Island Sound that inspires her art in Milford, CT.
