Dolly Curtis has had a full and rich life as an artist and as an interviewer and media personality in the theater. In addition to her "Backstage Buzz," co-hosted with the late Leo Meyer on WPKN every third Sunday at 10pm, she has had a cable-TV show “Dolly Curtis Interviews” for the last 28 years.

An Easton resident since 1979, Dolly has organized art shows at the Easton Public Library for the last 25 years, seeking out artists from beginners to the renowned, showcasing not just paintings and photographs but costume design, pencil sculpture, painted bricks, hand-blown glass, industrial product design and masks. She is also active with the Easton Arts Council and Connecticut Critics Circle.

When younger, Curtis became a textile artist somewhat by accident, when she retained some weaving supplies — including a loom — from her mother’s house and decided to take lessons at the Brookfield Craft Center. She specialized in large installations, some 40 feet tall. Many were commissioned and put in corporate and university buildings. A New York City gallery sold her work.
