Elena Roman De Soto

Helen Roman helped establish The Fashion Workshop NYC with Stephen Stipleman of WWW and taught art & design at the New York School for Media Arts. Her distinctive illustrations appeared in major fashion magazines and weekly in the NY Times for Abercrombie and Fitch.

Her international accounts included promotion for Spain and Italy as well well as individually for Ferragamo, Prada, Yogi Yamamoto et al. Her extensive study of drawing and painting as expressed through illustration paved the way for her natural transition to portraiture.

She is currently working on a series of celebrity portraits, and on portraits from shots that she took in Africa. Helen Roman attended Fordham University, The School of Visual Arts and FIT. Ms. Roman was creative supervisor and art director of Roman Assoc. NYC.
