Jane Lubin is a mixed media artist whose work spans several genres. She works in acrylic painting, collage, digitally manipulated photographic collage. An eye surgeon by training, she has always had a fascination with anatomical shapes, creating surreal, fantasy works relating to themes of gender fluidity and commenting on society’s norms around “beauty.†She is a member of Silvermine Guild of Artists, Board Member of Artspace, New Haven, and past president of the Womens Caucus for Art, Connecticut. She teaches Anatomy & Physiology at Norwalk Community College.
