My art is about experience. As a visual artist and counselor my goal is to have others reflect on their experiences in a different way. My desire is that it ultimately fosters more self-awareness and emotional well-being.
Through deconstruction of shape, color fields, and expressive lines we are prompted to interpret information beyond typical representation. I paint what I experience, sense, or feel in relation to the subject by using abstract or expressive modalities. I aim to encourage others to reflect on their own experiences when they view my artwork. It is my hope that this exchange draws a viewer to become more mindful of their emotions, memories, and connections.
I describe my art as an exploration between bold lines and dynamic palettes. My passion for geometric imagery, design, and color is embodied through this style.
