LifeBridge believes in the unlimited potential of every individual, child and family in Bridgeport. By providing a combination of behavioral health services, youth development, and asset-building resources, our impact strengthens families and our community as a whole.
Mental health is as important as physical health. Talking to a professional is a step in the right direction towards a happier more well-balanced life. Our team of licensed social workers, professional counselors, marriage/family therapists, addiction counselors and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses provides the tools needed to help individuals and families cope, adapt, and overcome challenges.
Our Urban Scholars Program assists youth residing in Bridgeport, ages 11-15 and entering grades 6-10, by providing them with an array of academically engaging activities designed to promote learning and prosocial behaviors in a way that young people will find enjoyable. Activities such as STEAM, robotics, visual arts, music, and more. Our goal is to help youth as they navigate life’s challenges and increase their opportunities to build resiliency.
