The 16th Annual Bridgeport Art Trail is looking for art to show Nov 7th-10th at the studios and gallery at 800 Union Ave, connected to MNTD and Foolproof Brewing Company CT.

Artists have 2 options, temporary rental of unrented studios spaces in the building for a fee of $200 for the entire weekend and keep 100% of sales OR show in our gallery show in the Stamford Gallery space with a reduced commission no rental fee.

Camerata d’Amici is pleased to announce that it will be holding auditions for all vocal parts for the 2024-2025 season. Auditions are by appointment now through September 3rd. This year’s theme for our 11th Annual Juried Exhibition will also explore artworks made with diverse mediums, including everyday found objects. This year’s Open Call for Artists celebrates artists who push the boundaries of expression and challenge traditional artistic norms. Abstract and representational artworks in 2D and 3D formats, including select installations will enrich the exhibition.

This competition/exhibition highlights the diversity of work currently being made by established and emerging artists. Eligibility – Open to all artists, 18 years of age and older. Original artwork in any media will be considered. Giclée reproductions of original works will not be accepted. Eligible artwork must have been completed after January 1, 2022, and fall within the restrictions.
Awards – The Grand Prize awards an artist a solo exhibition at Silvermine Arts Center with a $1,000 stipend for exhibit-related expenses. The Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) seeks a professional and knowledgeable part-time Gallery and Studio Assistant primarily for weekends and one evening per week who is responsible and personable as a representative of our organization.

Start Date: July 15, 2024 (or earlier if possible)
This is a part-time, hourly position at $16/hour. Driver’s license and self-transportation required.
Use of the studios and the full complement of our facilities outside of working hours permitted.

Primary responsibilities include front desk customer service, studio upkeep, studio support for staff and artists, and generally being a good ambassador for the Center.
