The 16th Annual Bridgeport Art Trail is looking for art to show Nov 7th-10th at the studios and gallery at 800 Union Ave, connected to MNTD and Foolproof Brewing Company CT.

Artists have 2 options, temporary rental of unrented studios spaces in the building for a fee of $200 for the entire weekend and keep 100% of sales OR show in our gallery show in the Stamford Gallery space with a reduced commission no rental fee.

ENTRY: Entry open ONLY to G.A.S. members. Works are not eligible if previously accepted for one of our juried exhibitions; if they have been exhibited in the Flinn Gallery; or if completed prior to 2020. This is The Westport Library's inaugural LID Session, presented by Verso University.

Have you ever had an experience where you found yourself coming together with others whose mindsets, approaches and/or backgrounds were completely different from your own and it ended up with very surprising or inspiring results? Artists share their art & true stories on this theme from the stage at The Westport Library. At the end, we will open up a community conversation on the theme. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

OUTwork explores issues of gender, LGBTQ life, love and relationships, family, social justice, bias, personal stories and perspectives, pride, current issues of 2024, etc. Artists need not be gay, lesbian, nonbinary, or transgender to participate. Allies welcome.

The intention is to support the greatest possible inclusion and to create a platform for people of diverse backgrounds to meet and exchange ideas and to express their support and respect.

Spectrum is a juried exhibition of original, contemporary artwork by local and regional artists. The theme is Visual Rhythms and the juror Sam Wilson, a founding director of Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery, will review original works in all media that celebrate and explore the connection between Art & Music.

Exhibit runs from May 4 - June 2, 2024. Submission deadline is April 1.

Calling photographers of all ages to enter their work in the Wilton Arts Council’s annual photography exhibit, FOCUS ’24, at the Wilton Library. Entry open to all regardless of town of residence. There are 3 divisions: Adult, High School (grades 9-12), and Youth (old enough to hold a camera through 8th grade). Photographers may enter up to two of their photos. Works may be film or digital images in color or B+W and may be enhanced by darkroom or digital techniques. Objects not photographed by entrant cannot be added.

The Carriage Barn Arts Center Annual Juried Photography Show will run from February 3 - March 8, 2024. The exhibition will be juried by Brian Wallis (Executive Director) and Marina Chao (Curator) of The Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW).

Submission is open to all regional photographers — amateur, professional, and student. All original photographic media, including film and digital images accepted. Criteria the juror will consider include: impact, creativity, style, composition, color balance, presentation, focal point, lighting, subject matter, narrative, and degree of difficulty. All subjects and styles will be considered.

Submission deadline is January 3 (midnight)
