ARTISTS RESIDENCIES: INTRODUCTION
On Feb. 27, 2019, the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County invited Felicity Hogan, Director of NYFA Learning at the New York Foundation for the Arts, to present an overview of Artists Residencies: what the range of residencies are, how to discover the residency just right for you, what to expect, how to prepare etc. Felicity made her presentation as part of a program hosted by Silvermine Arts Center. Following her overview we heard from three member artists – Liz Leggett, Susan Newcomb, and Jay Petrow – about their experiences on residencies both in the U.S. and abroad.
