Statement of Work

For me art should evoke some sort of emotion or intrigue that leads to deeper conversation. My work is inspired by both the natural and man-made world. I‘m drawn to rich color, texture and intricate patterns particularly in rusted metals, peeling paint, and the juxtaposition of new and old. Finding beauty created by nature, taking inspiration from details others may rarely notice. Experimenting with a variety of media, paper and techniques, I strive to capture the wonder of my surroundings.
