Liz Ward

Liz Ward lives and works in Weston, CT. She has been making art since childhood and exhibiting since 1980. Her award winning art resides in many private collections.

Liz uses a variety of media in her work including oil paints, paper mache, ,textiles, printmaking and found objects. She excels in paper collage and has applied that talent to rendering unique home portraits.

“I find many parts of painting/pieces where I daily move about and gather them around me like recipe ingredients. Color, texture and pattern govern most of my work as does the excitement of experimenting, the security of process and the joy of creating.”
