Stamford Downtown, a Business Improvement District, was established in 1992. Its mission is to manage, enhance and promote the Downtown experience.

Stamford Downtown offers a broad array of shops, restaurants, services, arts, education and events including Alive@Five Outdoor Concert Series and the Parade Spectacular, one of the largest helium balloon parades in the country!
