Suzanne Benton has shared her multi-faceted artwork for 60 years and in 32 countries. A metal mask-maker, mask performance artist, printmaker, painter, lecturer, and workshop leader, she’s had over 150 solo exhibitions and representation in museums and worldwide private collections.

Numerous grants and fellowships include a Fulbright to India, and artist residencies in the U. S. and abroad, oftentimes hosted by the cultural arm of U. S. embassies.

She’s the author of The Art of Welded Sculpture and numerous articles, and is listed in various Who’s Who’s, including Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Art, and Feminists Who Changed America, 1963-1975. Her art life remains active and vibrant while she busily writes Spirit of Hope, a memoir on her art and life.
