In 2018, I had an accident, broke my neck, and today am a quadriplegic, 85% paralyzed and without use of my fingers. Miraculously, however, I woke up after surgery with the ability to paint – the beneficiary of Acquired Savant Syndrome – and instead of mining the traditional chasms of despair and fear for inspiration, I combine the vivid colors, symbols and shapes that flooded my consciousness during my recuperative journey – and that continue today – with my fascination for complex systems and Chaos Theory. The results are vibrant, whimsical visual adventures that are as unexpected as they are joyful… with the hope that others may also escape life’s difficulties, even for a moment.
I am fortunate to be an artist member of the Silvermine Guild of Artists, and to so far be collected throughout the US and Canada.
