Amy Bock is a multi-award winning artist who has exhibited her
paintings and mixed media works at various venues including The
Kershner Gallery (Fairfield, CT) NEST Arts Factory (Bridgeport, CT)
Quidley & Co. (Nantucket, MA) Ridgefield Guild of Artists (Ridgefield,
CT) Silvermine Guild of Artists (New Canaan, CT) The Carriage Barn Art
Center (New Canaan, CT) The Mattatuck Museum (Mattatuck, CT) The
National Association of Women Artists (New York, NY) The Salmagundi
Club (New York, NY) Troy Fine Arts (Southport, CT) and Westport Arts
Center (Westport, CT).

Awards include The Juror’s Selection award at the Mattatuck Museum’s
show, MixMaster, in Waterbury, CT, the Juror was Elizabeth Denny,
Director, Denny Gallery, New York, NY., and The Helen N. Jacobs
Memorial Award for oil painting at The Salmagundi Club at the Hudson
Valley Art Association’s 83rd Annual Juried Exhibition, New York, NY,
and Honorable Mention in the International Online Art-Competition
“Flowers”, for her oil painting, “Violets”.

She received a BFA in Drawing and Painting from Pratt Institute
(Brooklyn, NY) graduating with honors. Her postgraduate studies
continued at The School of Visual Arts, Parsons School of Design, The
New School for Social Research, Polakov, Studio & Forum of Stage
Design (New York, NY) University of Vermont (Burlington, VT) and at
The Silvermine School of Art (New Canaan, CT) where she participated
in a Master Painting Critique class for several years.

Her work resides in many private collections and she is an active
member of the Ridgefield Arts Council, The Cultural Alliance of
Fairfield County, The Westport Arts Center, The Westport Arts Center
Collective, The Ridgefield Guild of Artists and a juried member of The
National Association of Women Artists, NYC.

In addition to her work as a fine artist she is also a jewelry
designer, executing intricate woven beaded jewelry for her company ABD
Jewelry. She also has pursued careers in scenic set design,
mask-making, graphic design, art direction and illustration. Her
images have been published in: American Baby, Discover, Graphic Arts
Monthly, Interior Design, I/O (Input/Output), Modern Bride, New
Canaan/Darien Magazine, Ridgefield Magazine, SBC Digital Design
Magazine, Digital Design & Production Magazine, and sought by clients
including Tiffany & Co, Prescriptives (Esteé Lauder), American
Express, Air Age Publishing, Bird & Bee Designs, The Mattatuck Museum
and Nobleworks Inc.

The artist currently lives and maintains a studio in Ridgefield, CT.
