Appalachian Mountain Club

The Fairfield County Group of the oldest environmental, cultural and outdoors organization in America. The Fairfield County Group of the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) holds dinners and social events featuring films and speakers the second Tuesday of the month, ten months out of the year (Sept – June) in Westport and Bethel. Bethel meetings are help in Oct., Dec., Feb., April., and June at the St Thomas Episcopal, 95 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, CT 06801. The Westport meetings are held in Sept., Nov., Jan., Mar., and May at the Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Rd E, Westport, CT 06880. Reception start at 6:30pm, Dinner is at 7:00pm and the speaker and/or film at 7:30pm. Additionally, AMC leads a variety of daily and weekly, local, regional and international outings and excursions.
