Barbara Galazzo

Barbara Galazzo is a fused glass and mosaic artist originally from New Orleans, LA. She recently moved to Connecticut after having lived in NY for over 35 years. She melds light and color into a kaleidoscopic window of movement, through the seductive medium of glass. A sense of joy and playfulness is found through her work.

Galazzo is an artist, art promoter, curator and gallery director. She was a co-owner/Director of Brooklyn Artisans Gallery, Brooklyn, NY for 16 years and owner of Gallery 66 NY, Cold Spring, NY for 5 years before joining Rockland Center for the Arts as Exhibition Director until 2023, and a past board member of Art Along the Hudson and Collaborative Concepts.org.
