The former homestead of Dr. Francis A. Bartlett, noted dendrologist and founder of the Bartlett Tree Expert Company, the 93-acre Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is a living museum adorned with majestic trees, charming gardens, wildlife, walking trails, natural habitats and landscapes. It serves as a leading recreational and educational resource for visitors, from serious botanists to “budding youngsters.”
Wheelchair access is available to many of the arboretum's gardens.
