The Westport Woman’s Club, organized in 1907, is a non-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the charitable, educational, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns. 501(c)(3)
Membership is open to all women who live or work in Westport and the surrounding areas, there is no residency requirement.
Founded in 1907, the WWC achieves its goals through various fundraisers, including the Yankee Doodle Fair and Curio Cottage Thrift Shop. All members are expected to contribute their time, talent, and energies to the community service and fundraising activities of the Club. The WWC also offers a variety of social events and special interest groups to appeal to a diverse group of women. Members can also rent the facility for a private party at a reduced rate. General membership meetings are held monthly, usually on the first Monday of the month with a catered lunch and guest speaker.
