Emily Derr is a freelance illustrator who works as a jewelry designer and production manager for NAGI Jewelers in Stamford.
Inspired by her experimentation marketing her own fashion illustrations made from recycled materials and serving in public relations roles at museums, she coaches businesses and creative professionals in crafting their message. She serves her clients through grassroots public relations efforts, forging community partnerships, content creation, and social media so that they can grow their audience within and beyond the art world.
She earned her degree in fashion design from Syracuse University and an MBA from DeVry University. Born in Michigan, she has been studying watercolor painting, sewing, and textile dye work since elementary school. She has also studied gemology at the Gemological Institute of America.
